Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Kevin Si respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Kevin collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit kevinsi.com, contact Kevin, book a session, or take part in an online session.

Kevin Si is an ICF-trained Life and Grief Coach based in Perth, Western Australia. Kevin currently focuses on supporting clients in the Philippines through online grief-support coaching and counselling. This policy explains the privacy practices for this service. It does not change the nature or scope of the service.

The information Kevin may collect

The information collected depends on how you choose to interact with Kevin. It may include:

  • your name, email address, phone number and time zone;
  • information you provide through the website Contact form or while making a booking;
  • appointment details, including the selected time, booking status and messages about a session;
  • information you choose to share in correspondence or during a session, which may be personal or sensitive;
  • payment and transaction details needed to confirm or record a payment. Kevin does not ask for banking passwords or card security codes;
  • limited notes Kevin chooses to keep to support the service and manage appointments; and
  • website and device information, such as IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring site, device identifiers and cookie data.

Please avoid sending highly sensitive personal information through ordinary website forms, social-media messages or email unless it is necessary for your enquiry. A session is generally a more appropriate setting for a private conversation.

Some of what you share with Kevin, especially during sessions, may relate to your emotional or mental wellbeing. Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, this may be treated as sensitive personal information. Kevin asks for your consent before collecting and using this kind of information, and uses it only to provide and support your sessions.

How information is collected

Information may be collected when you:

  • visit or use kevinsi.com;
  • submit the Contact form;
  • use the booking calendar;
  • email or otherwise contact Kevin;
  • attend an online session; or
  • make a payment.

Some website information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

Your consent

When you submit the Contact form or book a session, you will be asked to confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy and agree to your information being used as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting Kevin. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it, and Kevin may need to keep some records for legal, accounting or tax reasons.

Why Kevin uses information

Kevin may use personal information to:

  • respond to an enquiry;
  • arrange, confirm, reschedule or provide a session;
  • communicate about a booking, payment, policy or service-related matter;

  • improve the safety, reliability and usefulness of kevinsi.com;
  • meet legal, accounting, tax or other obligations; and
  • protect the security of the website, accounts and information held.

Kevin will not sell personal information. Kevin will not use personal information for unrelated marketing without a clear choice to receive it. If you later choose to receive optional marketing communications, you can opt out at any time.

Booking, website and online-session providers

Kevin uses third-party providers to operate the website and provide the service. Depending on how you interact with Kevin, these may include:

  • WordPress and associated website services to operate kevinsi.com and the Contact form;
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand general website use and improve the website;
  • Jetpack/WordPress.com statistics services to understand general website traffic;
  • TidyCal to provide the online booking calendar;

  • BPI, BDO, GCash or Wise to receive payments, depending on the payment method agreed with you.

These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and may store or process information outside the Philippines or your country of residence. Kevin shares only the information reasonably needed to use the relevant service.

Kevin is based in Australia. This means information you share with Kevin will be accessed and stored outside the Philippines. Kevin will continue to protect your information as described in this policy, wherever it is held.

Cookies and website measurement

Kevinsi.com uses cookies and similar technologies for website functionality and measurement. The website currently uses Google Analytics and Jetpack/WordPress.com statistics services. These tools may collect technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, pages viewed, time on site and referring website.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some website features. You can also use Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics measurement.

When information may be shared

Kevin treats what you share with care and does not share personal information simply because someone asks for it. Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary:

  • with a service provider described above so that the website, booking, online session or payment process can work;
  • with your permission or at your direction;
  • with an accountant, lawyer, insurer or professional adviser where needed for a legitimate business purpose and subject to appropriate confidentiality expectations; or
  • where disclosure is required or authorised by applicable law.

Confidentiality and its limits

What you share in sessions is treated as confidential. However, there are some situations where Kevin may need to share information without your permission, including:

  • where Kevin believes there is a serious and immediate risk to your life or safety, or to someone else's;
  • where there is a concern about the safety of a child or another vulnerable person; or
  • where disclosure is required by law, such as a court order.

In these situations, Kevin will share only what is necessary and, where it is safe and appropriate, will try to discuss it with you first.

Kevin's service is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call 911.

Session recordings

Sessions are not recorded unless you have given clear permission beforehand. If you agree to a recording, Kevin will explain how it will be used, stored and deleted.

Keeping information secure

Kevin takes reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Safeguards include limiting access to information, using password-protected accounts and devices, using reputable service providers, and keeping software and account protections under review.

No online service, transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. If Kevin becomes aware of a data incident, Kevin will assess it and take steps required by applicable law and appropriate to the circumstances.

If a data incident is likely to put you at real risk of harm, Kevin will let you know as soon as reasonably possible and will notify the National Privacy Commission where required.

How long information is kept

Kevin keeps personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining suitable records, resolving a concern, and meeting legal, accounting or tax obligations. When information is no longer needed, Kevin will take reasonable steps to securely delete it or de-identify it.

As a general guide, session notes are kept for up to 3 years after your last session. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as needed to meet tax and accounting requirements.

Kevin reviews records annually and securely deletes or de-identifies information that is no longer needed for service, business or legal purposes.

Clients under 18

Kevin may work with clients under 18 only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian will be asked to confirm their consent before the first session.

What a young person shares in sessions is treated as confidential. A parent or guardian will not automatically receive details of what is discussed, except where there is a concern about the young person's safety or where the law requires it.

Privacy rights and requests

Subject to applicable law and appropriate limits, you may ask Kevin to:

  • confirm whether information about you is held;
  • provide reasonable access to information held about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • object to certain processing;
  • receive a copy of your information in a commonly used format, where this is reasonable and possible; or
  • request deletion, blocking or de-identification where this is permitted and appropriate.

Some requests may be limited where Kevin needs to keep information for legal, accounting, security or record-keeping reasons, or where another person's privacy would be affected. Kevin may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you are in the Philippines, you may have rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, including the right to be informed, to access and correct personal data, to object to certain processing, and to request erasure or blocking where appropriate. If a concern is not resolved directly with Kevin, you may have the option of raising it with the Philippine National Privacy Commission.
